Global On-Line Learning Project with TIES

EplerWood International in partnership with The International Ecotourism Society (TIES) launched a Professional Learning Series in the spring of 2013. The inaugural series was Tourism and Community Development: Tested Strategies for a Better Future which featured four webinars. Webinar speakers Peter Richards, Judy Kepher Gona, Megan Epler Wood and Kurt Holle lectured on their decades of field experience in Asia, Africa and Latin America.

This series was developed in concept by EWI and proposed to TIES as means of building TIES outreach and educational programming capacity.  EWI and TIES are now working on the expansion of this on-line education platform. In the fall of 2014 a new topic and live webinar series will launch for the second installment.
